Desert Cruisers of Las Vegas
Jesse & Melanie
'67 Camaro and '72 El Camino
This is our 1967 Chevy Camaro. We bought this just before Christmas 2006. I had been wanting a first generation Camaro and Melanie liked it too, so we bought it. The plan is to make it an RS clone. It will eventually be Ralley Green with black Z28 stripes. When we got it there was some rust in the roof line and the rear window fill panel. I started cutting out the fill panel to replace and found that there had been a repair to the drivers rear quarter. It was a poorly done 80% quarter filled with brass and bondo!! So doing a fill panel became doing a full quarter. Then as I proceeded to remove the quarter found that the roof line was too badly rusted and decided I needed to do a roof skin. That is where I am at right now.
