Joe bought this '68 C-10 pickup in 1974 (33 years ownership) and continues to drive it at least a couple of times a week. The truck originally was a 307 V-8 with a 3 speed trans. Later on after the motor got tired he rebuilt a 350 and swapped to a TH350 auto also. The truck has air conditioning, P.S. and P.B.s. He's done a few body mods to it also, filling in the stake pockets, and lowering the truck a little too. He recently completely rewired the truck. The truck was pretty much a daily driver for Joe when he was working as a Operating Engineer. He retired from a couple of years ago. Since his retirement, Joe has enrolled in Community College and is taking up body work classes, so as he says, "I can use some of the high priced tools that I have". He would like to someday to open up his own shop and do a few car restorations a year at his own pace.
